A Joy Filled Lochside House Hotel LGBTQ Wedding: Susan & Jacqui
Some wedding days stay with you long after the camera stops rolling — and Susan and Jacqui’s wedding at Lochside House Hotel, Lodges & Spa is one of those unforgettable celebrations. Their day was emotional, heartfelt, full of laughter, and overflowing with the kind of love that makes you feel lucky to witness it.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be a day filled with personality, warmth, and joy. And yes… their adorable Toy Poodle, Bailey, absolutely stole the show as the official ring?bearer.
A Setting Made for Romance
Lochside House Hotel is one of those venues that feels like it was designed for love stories. With sweeping views, peaceful water, and soft rolling hills, it creates a cinematic backdrop without even trying. For Susan and Jacqui, it was the perfect place to gather their favourite people and celebrate their journey together.
The morning was relaxed and full of excitement — the kind of atmosphere where everyone is smiling, music is playing, and you can feel the anticipation building.
A Ceremony Filled With Personal Touches
Their ceremony was a beautiful blend of emotion and fun. Personal vows, meaningful readings, and the presence of Bailey trotting proudly down the aisle made it uniquely theirs. It was everything an LGBTQ wedding should be — authentic, joyful, and unapologetically full of love.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, and just as many moments of laughter. Susan and Jacqui’s connection radiated through every glance, every touch, every shared smile.
Celebrating With Style
After the ceremony, the celebrations truly came alive. The team of suppliers helped bring the day together perfectly:
- Photography: Natural Weddings (Suzanne Hodgson Photography)
- Flowers: The Glitter Garden
- Band: Transit Jukebox
- Hair: HairBy Natalia (Nataliassalon)
- Makeup: Laura Burns MUA
- Decor: JAM Events

Every detail — from the florals to the décor — reflected the couple’s style and the joyful energy of the day.
A Dancefloor to Remember
As the evening unfolded, the dancefloor became the heart of the celebration. Transit Jukebox kept the room buzzing, and Susan and Jacqui’s guests were more than ready to join in. The laughter, the dancing, the hugs — it all created the kind of atmosphere that makes a wedding film come alive.
A Love Worth Celebrating
Susan and Jacqui’s LGBTQ wedding was a reminder of why I love what I do. Their connection is genuine, their joy is infectious, and their wedding day was a beautiful celebration of two people choosing each other wholeheartedly.
It was an honour to capture their story at Lochside House Hotel — a day filled with emotion, fun, and unforgettable moments.
