By completing the booking form & paying £500 booking fee you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions
Bookings
A booking is only confirmed/reserved once the completed Booking Form has been completed and £500 booking fee paid and cleared. Booking Fee is non refundable.
We accept payment via paypal, card, bank transfer, or cash.
Balance Payment
Final Balance must be paid 1 month before your wedding or you risk cancellation of your booking.
We reserve the right to charge a late payment fee of £50 for payments not made on time.
Cancellation
We strongly recommend that you take out Wedding Insurance to protect yourselves as some weddings need to be cancelled and our cancellation charges are as follows:
• 6 months or more prior to the date
– Booking Fee only
• 6 months – 1 month before date – 50%
• 1 month or less prior to date – 100% of the
total cost.
If for any reason beyond our control we cannot produce your wedding film (death, injury, sickness etc.) we will refund the cost of any payment made in full and that will be the limit of our liability.
Postponement
If your have to postpone your wedding we will try as hard as possible to accommodate the new date with no price increases. We just ask that the balance payment is still made on the orginal due date. If we can not accommodate the new date our normal cancellation terms will apply.
Music Choices
Please supply us with any choice of music before your wedding – a list via email is best with 12-15 songs that are a mixture of upbeat and slower songs.
If no music choice is given within 1 month after the wedding, we will choose the music, and a charge will be made if you wish to change these.
Highlights
If a highlights montage is included in your package, we create this AFTER the full film has been edited. We use royalty free music for all highlights.
Teaser Trailers
A teaser trailer is included in our Premium Package. This is short 30sec-1min teaser of your day that we create within 2 weeks of your wedding. This is set to royalty free music to match the tone and vibe of your day.
Itinerary
Please supply an itinerary of your wedding day in advance and make us aware of any stop off for photos in between venues or any surprises. It is also helpful if you can provide full addresses for any venues or stop offs. Failure to provide this information and/or to communicate any changes on the day may result in missed coverage for which we cannot be held responsible.
Please Note: To film Singer Waiters or other dinner entertainment is an additional £150.
We send a questionnaire approx. 2 months before your wedding to confirm itinerary and music choices.
On the Day
It is your responsibility to obtain any or all permissions and licenses that may be necessary for any location or venue to be used. No responsibility is accepted for restrictions placed on us by wedding officials (including, but not restricted to, position of cameras) so please ensure they are informed. We will not be held liable for any production problems beyond our control, e.g. bad weather, accidents, poor acoustics/lighting, interference from guests or other suppliers hired on the day. It is important that you inform your guests that professional videographers will be present and to try their best not to obstruct our view or interfere with our equipment.
Every effort will be made to ensure your event is recorded in full on the day. A back-up camera is carried to minimize problems caused by equipment failure and this is also used to film certain parts of the event from a different angle. No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to any other circumstances beyond our control.
Exclusivity
No other videographer should be covering the same event (paid or unpaid). Friends and family are permitted to operate video cameras on the condition that they do not interfere with or get in the way of the professional coverage.
Arrival Times
We aim to arrive approx. 1 hour before your ceremony time with the exception of bridal preparations, which we would make arrangements to suit(normally 2 hours before).
The price covers all shooting time until end time agreed as per the package chosen.
Finishing Times
Diamond Package – untill last speech is finished. Extra £150 if speeches are after dinner
Gold – until 3rd dance (approx 8.30pm)
Platinum/ Premium – untill buffet (approx 9pm)
If your wedding is running behind schedule we are more than happy to stay an extra 30 mins free of charge. An additional charge of £100 per hour will apply if there further delays or extra coverage is needed.
Turnaround time
We aim to have your wedding video complete within 4 months – this can be longer during the peak wedding season. Marryoke edits do take quite a bit of time but we estimate to have them complete within 6 months.
Re-Edits / Faulty Discs
Small changes to the initial edit can be made. The first few hours are free but after that are subject to £100 p/h of editing time and must be requested within 7 days of the video delivery. USBs/DVDs will be replaced free of charge if notification of a fault is received within 7 days of initial receipt. After this replacement discs will be charged at £25 per copy and £50 for USB.
Copyright
We retain the copyright to all footage recorded on the day. We also reserve the right to show a highlights montage on our website, social media or at wedding shows.
Raw Original Footage
We will keep an archive of all your original raw video and audio files for a period of 12 months. After that period, we will delete the footage. You can purchase a copy of all the original footage at any point in the 12 months after your wedding date. We will supply the footage on an external hard drive, as an average wedding video shot with multiple cameras can have in excess of 200Gb of footage. The cost of this at the time of booking is £500. We will always keep a copy of your finished wedding master files, so you can always get additional copies of your video.
